Appointments take place via a secure and confidential HIPPA compliant virtual platform.
Online therapy provides:
Accessibility: You are not limited to therapists located in your surrounding area. Instead, you have the ability to access therapists statewide which gives you more options to choose from to find your perfect fit.
Convenience and flexibility: There is no need to travel for face-to-face meetings. It is easier to fit a counseling session into your day when you do not have to worry about time and transportation.
Privacy: Since online therapy does not require you to travel anywhere, you do not have to worry about interacting with staff, running into someone you know, or being in a space with unfamiliar people at a time when you’re feeling more vulnerable.
Comfort: You may have avoided therapy in the past because the idea of being in an unfamiliar place makes you nervous. Being in a familiar environment can make it easier to talk openly about difficult issues. With online therapy, you can have your session from wherever you feel most comfortable — office, bedroom, couch, or car.
On your terms: The therapy process should cater to you and work for your schedule.
Online therapy makes this a reality.

Mental health therapy is a collaborative treatment approach grounded in the relationship between the client and therapist. Therapy uses a variety of methods to help an individual identify, explore, and change harmful thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to promote a happier, healthier, and more rewarding life.

A number of benefits are available from participating in therapy. Therapists can provide support, problem-solving skills, and enhanced coping strategies for issues such as depression, anxiety, relationship troubles, unresolved childhood issues, grief, stress management, body image issues and creative blocks.
Many people also find that counselors can be a tremendous asset to managing personal growth, interpersonal relationships, family concerns, marriage issues, and the stressors of daily life. Therapists can provide a fresh perspective on a difficult problem or point you in the direction of a solution. The benefits you obtain from therapy depend on how well you use the process and put into practice what you learn.

In the intake session we will explore your current concerns and other relevant information in order to create a comprehensive treatment plan (or road map) to meet your therapy goals. In subsequent sessions we’ll start actively working on the plan we developed. Throughout our time together the treatment plan may be revisited and adapted to address new issues, goals, or changes in priorities as they arise. Once therapy goals are met and you feel confident in your new skillset, we will discuss strategies to manage inevitable future stressors and the termination of therapy process.

Research shows that online therapy increases access to care and is as effective as face-to-face therapy, if not more effective for some people.

Therapy does not operate on a one-size-fits-all model. It is a uniquely individualized process and therefore each client’s journey will look different. Factors such as presenting issue, goals, needs, and preferences will determine the length of therapy. As a result, some may benefit from more short-term support, while others may find they require sessions over an extended period of time.

No worries! Sometimes the hardest part is just getting started. We can chat about whatever's on your mind, even if it seems small or silly.

Please note that I am a private pay provider and am not contracted with insurance. Private pay therapy gives you the freedom to focus on what truly matters—your growth, healing, and happiness—without the limitations often placed by insurance. This is your time, fully dedicated to you. The work we do together can help you better understand yourself, heal past wounds, develop the tools you need to navigate life’s challenges, and foster wellness and flourishing in the good times.
When we think about self-care, we often consider things like a gym membership, eating well, or taking time to relax. But therapy is one of the most profound investments you can make in yourself. Just like spending money on your physical health or other important aspects of your life, therapy is an investment in your emotional and mental wellbeing that can have long-lasting effects.
While it may feel like a financial commitment, the benefits of therapy extend far beyond the session itself. By investing in your mental health, you’re investing in your relationships, your career, and ultimately, your quality of life. The returns are immeasurable—improved emotional resilience, deeper self-awareness, and a stronger sense of self, peace, and purpose. You are worth the investment.
I get that the thought of investing in yourself may feel uncomfortable. You may have been raised to believe that prioritizing your own needs is selfish. However, the fact that you’re here considering therapy means that there’s a part of you recognizes it’s time for a change. The way you’ve been living—giving until you’re completely drained and avoiding discomfort—just isn’t sustainable. Now is the time to replenish your energy and truly take care of yourself.
